What it is

One connection. Your real numbers, in any assistant.

Gymie runs an MCP server — the open standard AI assistants use to connect to apps. Once you connect, the assistant calls Gymie for real answers instead of guessing: today’s session from your plan, your visits this month, who owes your gym money.

For members

Your plan for today or the week, progress and personal bests, workout history, gym visits and streak, membership end date, dues — and a payment link when you owe something.

For gym owners and staff

Today’s dashboard, every branch side by side, member search and details, attendance by day and trend, dues, leads, referrals and reports — plus check a member in, add a lead or send a payment link.

How to connect

Two minutes, once.

You need your Gymie email and password. Signed up with Google? Set a password once with “Forgot password”, using the same email.

Claude

Plans · Free (one custom connector), Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise.

  1. 1On claude.ai or in Claude Desktop, open Customize → Connectors.
  2. 2Click “Add custom connector”.
  3. 3Name it Gymie and paste the server URL: https://api.gymie.app/mcp. Leave the advanced settings as they are (if asked, choose sign-in with OAuth and “Register automatically”). Click Add.
  4. 4Click Connect. Gymie’s sign-in page opens — sign in with your Gymie email and password and allow access.
  5. 5In a chat, open the “+” menu → Connectors and make sure Gymie is switched on. Now ask.

Phone: add the connector on the web or in Claude Desktop first. It then works in the Claude app for iPhone and Android.

Team and Enterprise: an owner adds Gymie once under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom (choose Web if asked). Each person then clicks Connect under Customize → Connectors and signs in with their own Gymie account.

ChatGPT

Plans · Business, Enterprise and Edu get full support (reading and actions). On Plus and Pro, custom apps may be limited or read-only — check whether Developer mode appears in your settings. Not available on Free.

  1. 1On chatgpt.com (web), open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. 2Back in Settings → Apps, click Create app.
  3. 3Name it Gymie, paste the MCP server URL: https://api.gymie.app/mcp, choose OAuth as the authentication, confirm you trust the app and click Create.
  4. 4Gymie’s sign-in page opens — sign in with your Gymie email and password and allow access.
  5. 5In a new chat, open the “+” menu, choose Developer mode and switch Gymie on. Now ask.

Developer mode and custom apps are set up on ChatGPT on the web.

Business, Enterprise and Edu: a workspace admin may need to allow developer mode, or create Gymie under Workspace settings → Apps and publish it for everyone.

Other MCP clients

Plans · Any app or agent that supports remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth sign-in.

  1. 1Add a remote (HTTP) MCP server with the URL https://api.gymie.app/mcp.
  2. 2When the client opens Gymie’s sign-in page, sign in with your Gymie email and password.
  3. 3Example — Claude Code: run “claude mcp add --transport http gymie https://api.gymie.app/mcp”, then type /mcp and choose Authenticate.

No API key is needed. Sign-in uses OAuth with dynamic client registration, so clients register themselves.

Assistant menus change often. If a label differs, look for connectors, apps or MCP in your assistant’s settings and add a custom connector with the URL above.

Security

Your login. Your permissions.

You sign in on Gymie

Connecting opens Gymie’s own sign-in page on api.gymie.app. The assistant gets a revocable token — never your password.

It sees only what you can

Members see their own training, visits, membership and dues. Staff see what their role allows at their gyms. Trainers don’t get money data.

Disconnect any time

In the Gymie app, Me → AI assistants → Disconnect. Access stops immediately. Gym staff can do the same from the gym dashboard.

Actions are few and deliberate: a payment link, a check-in, a new lead. No assistant can take money — payment always happens on the gym’s own Razorpay, Stripe or UPI page — and most assistants ask you before any action runs.

Tools

What the assistant can ask Gymie.

Everyone gets the member tools. Gym owners and staff also get the gym tools for the gyms they work at.

Questions

Straight answers

What is the Gymie MCP server?

+

It is a secure connection that lets AI assistants read your Gymie data and do a few things for you. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants use to connect to apps. Gymie’s server is at https://api.gymie.app/mcp.

Which AI assistants work with Gymie?

+

Claude (web, desktop, and mobile once added), ChatGPT (developer mode, set up on the web) and any other MCP client that supports remote servers with OAuth sign-in.

Is it safe? What can the assistant see?

+

You sign in on Gymie’s own page with your Gymie account — the assistant never sees your password. It sees only what you can see in Gymie: members see their own training, attendance, membership and dues; gym staff see what their role allows. You can disconnect any assistant at any time from Me → AI assistants in the Gymie app.

Can the assistant change things or take payments?

+

It can do a small number of actions you ask for: create a payment link, check a member in, or add a lead (staff only). It cannot take money — payment always happens on the gym’s own Razorpay, Stripe or UPI page. Most assistants ask you to approve each action.

Does it cost anything?

+

Connecting Gymie is free for members and included for gyms on Gymie. Your AI assistant’s own plan decides whether you can add custom connectors.

I signed up with Google. How do I connect?

+

Connecting needs your Gymie email and a password. Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in page once to set one, then connect.

How do I disconnect?

+

In the Gymie app, go to Me → AI assistants and tap Disconnect next to the assistant. Gym staff can do the same on the AI assistants page of the gym dashboard. You can also remove the connector in your assistant’s settings.
